As a writer myself I have to say that this is a masterpiece that I would compare to Overlord only without the main character developing split personalities, at least not in the normal sense because technically all of his are copies of the original and don’t really become a new personality.

his first two lives are absolute sh*t but having and being able to experience a loving mother for the first time allows him to cool his head long enough to be more rational.

Spoiler

after his mother is tortured and killed he is mentally corrupted and tho he is still weak he comes up with an excellent way to get vengeance on those that he can at the moment; by turning all the walls, buildings, and fields that provided the people protection from monsters and wildlife as well as their food supplies into golems that literally got up and walked off, leaving them defenseless and hungry and no other option but to fend for themselves and or evacuate to another town obviously leaving the asswipe in charge to his own ruin where it will take many years just to rebuild and that’s only if he can convince the people that the place isn’t cursed lol ?

[collapse]

it will take a long time for him to get full vengeance on some things but when he does it is great, sometimes he gets vengeance fairly quickly.

he does come to peace with several of the reincarnated individuals but not all of them, all of them are decided with logical reasons like kill those who try to kill him or those who are his companions/ people he cares about.

he doesn’t really have an interest in having multiple love interest but they start accumulating regardless some mainly due to his death attributes attraction and the guider jobs he accumulates but some fall for his personality and the females aren’t interested in s*x with a baby/child they are willing to wait until he reaches maturity. Yes some do have other partners due to not having a concept of marriage, and also have babies while waiting for Van to grow up.

their are several stereotypes but they are executed well and there’s several characters that break the mold of usual character types. Characters stay true to their personalities and quirks and those who become fanatics do so at a progressive rate matching the guidance levels.

character sheets are updated and kept up with well throughout the process of the novel and is a great way to show the progression of not only the main characters but also some of the minor ones.

the world building is amazing and has variety and the city building/ empire building is well thought out and executed in progressive waves that are creative and insightful as the resources, technology and labor force available increases making the best possible advancements.

he does start craving Japanese foods and tries to recreate them something’s take a while for him to get done but it gives a short break from some of the hustle and bustle before more of the faster paced things return and make it hard to put down again lol.

the chapters are on the longer side and the translation is one of the best ones I have had the joy of reading.

the biggest downside is that it takes a while for chapters to be translated but that’s understandable with the amount that is being translated so not really a downside, more a matter of my lack of patience lol.

there is plenty more I could say but I don’t want to leave too many spoilers.
