A weird mix of normal isekai kingdom building* harem + revenge and insanity. As you'd expect it doesn't meld** well. It's got all the flaws of both that I will not fully list and the only thing making me read further is the desire to get to the end.* that looks to me more like playing house (though it is becoming marginally better at my current point—c85).** at first I was reading it with a revenge, then normal isekai with revenge subplot mindset but then at my current point it started going into the trigger happy psycho + bipolar (cause psycho killer doesn't mesh with the normal isekai thingy) direction and my brain can't take it. The result of combining the two tones made it more of a trigger happy psycho story, so... Yeah, it's a psycho getting very distracted builing a kingdom and collecting harem, then getting revenge and becoming god*** at the end, I guess.Since there's "so much hate" I'd rather read a more determined psycho if the author really wants to go in that direction. Some kudos:- the world seems really well-thought-out- the chapters are long (though there were noticeable pads I see) - the initial concept was good (the world and the premise, not the psycho-building-a-kingdom) With that said, with the way the story was going into the kingdom building normal isekai route, I'd rather have it go the redemption/rehab/growth route and not going full blown psycho.Just for the effort (?) and quality (in comparison to other isekais) I'd give this a 4, but overall for me this is a 3/5.*** Just my guess. But that's where the trope was going.// We need to start tagging novels that are overly obsessed with Japanese food with a "food" tag or something.
