This story is fantastic, for all of you new readers ignore all of those bad reviews they seem to think that protagonist should be either an emotionless robot being able to restrain his emotions when a tragedy hits or they have been reading too many badly paced stories this story is paced extremely well it has a slow start then an emotional or action packed event followed by world building/ daily life stories that always have a point or fill in plot holes before they happen aka kingdom building and currency some stories seem to assume that currency already exists for the kingdom but the designs change with the new king/queen. In summary a slower type story but the world building is fantastic and the story will keep you on your toes. A must read.
