Look, these kind of novels aren't exactly masterpieces. The amount of webnovels I truly consider good can be counted on one hand. But this one is like a tasty burger; yummy while you're eating it but far from the epitome of good taste. It's good fun watching the MC thwart plans and fight cool battles, but at the back of your head while you're reading it is just the notion that this is kind of shallow. Nevertheless I enjoy reading it and is a good story to just turn off your brain and have an afternoon to waste.
