Its a waste of time. Now, thats not necessarily a bad thing, all novels are in my opinion, however, some can leave you with a sense of satisfaction, while others leave you feeling bored. 2 stars may seem harsh but it's definitely closer to 2 than it is three. You get a lot of people that read slapstick sh*t like this and claim they're too smart to enjoy it, maybe they are, but honestly, I feel there is nothing wrong with enjoying something even if you recognise that it's objectively bad. The author seemed to have fun writing this, and many people seemed to enjoy reading it. If you are looking to while away your finite time before the grave, then this is a perfectly fine choice, though there are better options out there, at least for me.
