One of the greatest novel i've ever read especially if you like ruthless MC character that doesn't act like a btch even tho they have the power, The story goes like this, A good man gets betrayed in his past life by his wife and coworkers and with the help of the "guide" (basically an evil god) he swear that he will do everything he can to be an evil lord, pretty generic right? But the main reason why this novel is great is because the mc's definition of evil lord is pretty shallow when compared to the other world ex: He think he spend "lavishly" while everyone around him thinks he's a frugal lord so they think of him as a great ruler instead, he also wants a harem cause thats what he think evil lord should have but he still hates his past life wife so he doesn't trust someone easily. Now for the other great part, The MC knows that power is needed in order to really become an evil lord and he isn't afraid to use it like other beta isekai MC, he killed anyone who disrespects him and his ally, he flaunts his power and don't feel the need to hide it (because thats what he think evil lord should be like).
