From the same author as Blood Princess and the Knight, a nice read that I enjoyed a lot.

Now first off some complaints that I have, this novel just kinda leaves some characters hanging.. I'm a person who likes for characters, even if they're minor to have an explanation of their life afterwards.

Spoiler

For example, in Volume 2 during the Goblin arc, there was a girl the MC met in a village, who was later revealed to be a noble who escaped after her family was killed. She played an important role as her presence allowed the MC to piece together the mystery of the goblins, and afterwards the goblin problem was solved, she is never mentioned again. The whole reason she traveled along with the MC was to find her brother who enlisted to fight against the goblins, she thinks he is alive because she gets sent flowers from her brother every so often, and it is later revealed that her brother paid a flowershop to periodically send flowers to her, and is most likely dead. Did she ever find out the truth? And what happened to her after? Well guess we'll never know.

This issue is similar to the last one, as the novel doesn't address some of the loose ends, mainly with the villains.

Spoiler

In Volume 4, Fallen Angels who sought to revive their god they follow were the main antagonists of the volume, the MC fought them in the past and the present, and stopped the revival of their god both times. In the present, the MC called for reinforcements from the Sky City, which made them retreat, those guys were the strongest enemies that the MC has ever faced before, and even in later arcs, they are still considered strong, so you would think that they would make a future appearance, but nope, they are never mentioned again afterwards. Well, the MC at the very end of the novel would probably 1 shot them if they ever appeared again, so...

Now about my rating, I gave it a 5/5, however that doesn't mean I think the overall story and quality is 5/5, it certainly has flaws, the rating is more so my enjoyment of the story.

Now about the Heroines/Love Interests, I think that they're great. Normally, I'm not a fan of harems as I think that a lot of media handle them poorly, such as making the girls braindead and depend on the MC, or for some reason a girl falling in love at first sight with the MC for no reason. This novel handles all the love interests well, which makes the harem in this story an aspect I like.

Now as I said before, this novel is made by the same author who made Blood Princess and the Knight, so there are some nice easter eggs in this novel, such as the Vampire Royalty having the same last name (Lasambo) or the Scythe they use sharing the same name. That does not mean they are the exact same characters.

Also I finished this in around a month, on my bday, nice coincidence and extra points (jk)
