3 things:
- Very slow. I admit, I wanted to read a "face-slapping" dumb series about the "bad" family getting what they deserve. That's not what happened. The bad family are barely mentioned at all (skipping through the chapters, they get 2-ish scenes in 280 chapters)
- I can get behind this type of story (my favorite series are ones where the MC doesn't even try to get revenge), but nothing happens in the story besides school stuff.
- There were many translations mistakes. Nothing crazy that makes it illegible, but there were enough that you can't read this casually. You have to be aware. (Missing a word, typos, the MC's name changes from Gu Xi to Gu Nian from time to time, etc. I believe there was at least one mistake in every 3 chapters.)

Our genius MC keeps on worrying about how the "bad" family might win in the end due to plot reasons, but it feels very contrived when the MC's dad is a level above them and is now fully aware of them, unlike in the original story. It feels like she either believes that her reality will pull some BS to get to the original ending or that she hasn't noticed that things have changed and therefore the ending will change as well
