I Became a Druid in Another World Chapter 30 Discussion

Quite a great story: nice pacing, well-written characters, no one is being dramatic and/or horribly dumb (except for idk, maybe the cultist). MC's personality is kinda mid but that is just him being a mature boring adult who has experienced the workplace before. He's still much-much better than most Korean male MCs in the market tho cuz he's truly emotionally stable, and author doesn't make his greedy/miserly trait as his personality, the MC still has some compassion.

The only downside of this novel is its minimal world-building. Things just happen without further context which doesn't make the writing more compelling to read. Things were only explained when it was convenient to be. Example would be the plants, the countries, the gods, none of them will be explained unless it was required for MC's journey, which is a bummer. So again, in this story, it's basically just things happen in MC (who wants to go home) 's journey, he solves it, he gets power-ups, rinse and repeat with author doing bare minimum context on everything else.

Still, it's actually not as bad as it sounds (I tend to be overcritical on the deficiency of the novel I actually like lol). The story is still good, a good way to describe it would be like a gentle river stream, very stable with little to no "oof", pleasant to enjoy while rowing a boat but who knows where it will lead us (hopefully to a more exciting and intricate plot so we can do some rafting).

My product review on this:

Very suitable to curb your webnovel addiction while you can still enjoy reading it.
