Omg, the people who gave this novel bad reviews obviously did not understand the story. This is not about romance! I repeat, this is not about romance! Also, even though a lot of ppl said it was too angsty I didn't feel that at all? Reading this novel made me feel so refreshed. I'm so sick of female leads ignoring the male leads toxic flaws- the first arc almost felt like a parody to me with the usual "cold boss" trope (except they the author really went ham on his backstory- like sheesh there's no way you can white wash that lmao).Our MC is a girl who has been used and ruthlessly kicked aside in all the worlds she has transmigrated into. It's unique because she is not just getting revenge on the male lead, but also on the other side male characters who "helps" her after she fell but also ends up abandoning her for the original female lead. While the focus is on revenge, she's not blindly harming others. People who she gets revenge on really deserve it.Since I am a big softie, ngl I felt bad for that one dude in the first arc but he ruined the chances that she gave him time after time. I can understand why she did what she did. He's tr*sh no matter the few touching moments here and there. I'm still kicking myself for getting fooled- it's no wonder she's so cold. I would be too.
