I think the best way I can put this novel, is that it tried to be something it is not. Especially with its tried take on tragedy trope, it failed to evoke any angst because there’s no romance, such a lazy take at it. The best QT tragedy trope that I feel like it tried to imitate in some ways was QT system: male god come here. That novel is a tragedy and comedy done well. Anyway with other tr*shy Mary Sue novels, it is up there with it, you have to be 10-14 to read it otherwise you cringe out. I did give this a shot, I honestly didn’t like how other female characters were getting r*ped for every little thing, but the male ones were fine, make it make sense, what’s wrong with these authors and their hatred for the female species. There’s no depth to the MC, she has no personality and she’s a “queen, princess, likes dresses” that’s it. That’s as far as personality, and don’t get me started on the male lead, 1st arc he was fine and then he just becomes a yes ma’am servant wtf? Why can’t we get normal characters with normal sense of dignity. Why does he have to be her servant for her to like him? There my rant is over.
