This has to be one of the best omega verse that I have read in a really long time. Both characters, to me were so lovable and relatable, I actually felt for them. Let’s just say that this story was so good that I could not stop reading it for like a whole week like I needed more and more. Jiheon, is this calm and collected MC, who doesn’t take sh*t from anyone, can stand up for himself, who does his job so freaking well and seeing the way he always wanted Jaekyoung to reach his full potential has to be one of the best parts of the story for me, and also the way that he’s able to manage Jaekyoung not only as an athlete, but also as a person has to be one of my favorite parts. Like I have to give it to him in being such a patient person with Jaekyoung, because as he said that man’s social skill is crazy, but he handles it so well. Jaekyoung, on the other hand, I found him to be just absolutely lovable, a big puppy, who has his eyes only on the MC for all these years. You don’t find that a lot in an omegaverse and an alpha who would kiss the ground his omega walks on? That is not something you’ll find a lot of. He’s not arrogant with his love, he knows who he wants. And he only wants to show his best to Jiheon, and he recognizes that he has difficulties in how he expresses himself or how he acts towards certain situations, he acknowledges his faults and shortcomings as a person. And throughout all these chapters, we can see how he has changed. He has matured to be the man that Jiheon can rely on and to trust. He knows what he wants, he’s straightforward, and yes rough in his tone, but full of love and that’s what I love the most.Now I’m seeing reviews from people who dropped this story from chapter 33 or chapter 99. I’m sorry, but you don’t have room for a comment, like your review has no ground unless you’ve read the whole thing. That’s just my opinion. And it tells me that you’re not a reader, it’s a novel with 189 chapters. I feel like a lot of people expect romance from the jump. The romance has to build up and when we finally got the romance, it was so worth it. From the start of them being official to the ending, it was all so worth it. I’ve never seen two people match so well. This is a novel, did we forget to read? And the criticism towards MC doesn’t work if you haven’t read the whole thing, because Jiheon’s character and his thoughts on romance is explained extremely well as to why he is that way. Like I said some of y’all just aren’t readers anymore.To end this long review, I want to say I highly recommend this novel, and I hope it gets more recognition along with the new manhwa. If you want a good story, a good omegaverse with no toxicity, a good romance, a good slow burn, a really good theme, then this is the one. I even enjoyed the swimming aspect of this and learning all these swimming phrases and learning all the swimming context. I also know it’s not easy to translate Korean into English, especially with certain nuances or context, but the translator has done a really good job so I applaud them for that and sharing this with us. All in all, I can’t wait to meet their second baby boy ㅠㅠ
