I read the Novel because the art style in the manhwa version was so goddamn good and the story was very promising. I couldn't wait for chapter 5 and wanted to know the story. Seeing the comments are all positive and the rating is so high I got excited and read it but oh boy what a let down. I can't read it anymore. There's too much irrelevant stuff and repetitive flashbacks that I think the writer could've just told at one point but it keeps repeating to add a little more information of something that was already pointed out previously. It was sooo dragging that I skipped them. I found myself rereading sentences because I feel lost and drowned in words that felt like gibberish to me instead of it being engaging. It's already 33 chapters and I feel nothing. I can't relate to the characters, I can't feel their chemistry heck I can't even feel interested in swimming even if there was so much information about it. I was too distracted with the words man. I mean too many words that couldn't capture my interest. I can't point it out exactly but it felt like going around in circles when it could've been describe in one word. I skipped them and I could still understand the story. There was no build up with the romance (tiny bits I guess) just all gibberish words and the author seems to over extend things or tends to stay in one scene too much like I feel like it could've ended at some point but then it extends so I expected something significant to happen but then nothing happens. Oh gosh what a let down. I expected something good.
