For now I like the story. The MC or Rei sure strong at start but not OP. He just a countryside or rural 17 years old boy. So you can guess he had a laid back personality. This also mean, if there is troublesome event happening, Rei choose better not take part in it. Rei is someone like "You good, I'm good. You bad, I'm bad.". He also not impulsive justice person which always saving anyone in trouble.Spoiler
Rei has the body of a construct made by the best magic and techniques. Which mean he has an immortal body, high mana capacity and I think there will be no longer growth for his body. He inherit the Magic Beast Art, the knowledge of the world 1000 years ago, and the knowledge of Fire magic after fused with Zepairu. Which mean he gets the theory but not the practical experience of using them. Therefore, the knowledge is a little bit useless for a beginner magician like him. In fact, he cannot even sense magic in the first place. So he need to learn it step-by-step. Magic Beast Art is more like the better Rei's griffon, Set, and the Death Scythe the stronger he become. Thus, Rei is not an OP character.

For me, this novel is more like your daily stuff happening in your life such as interesting event, boring day, and etc. Does your life has a plot? Of course not. What about goal or objective of your life? You only have them when someone ask you. Most of us just going with flow or just doing things the way we want. Even we have them, sooner or later the goal will change. For now, Rei's goal only to get more magic stones to learn skills.Romance?? For now, the kiss scene is done. And just like your usual virg*n boy with no experience but only theory from reading LN and manga, Rei getting shy after kissed.Overall, I like the novel. For now I don't become annoying on the MC because of his decision making just like some or most of the novel out there. To remind people, this is "Slice of Life" novel. Thus, the story will progress slow like snail and have a lot of side events.
