Roy_Luffy's review is technically not wrong, but the novel didn't really hide the potential s*xual elements in the first place.

From the start, it was mentioned that the game had "adult" elements, and while it took a while for the reversed gender roles to be mentioned explicitly, there were many foreshadowings, beginning from 90% of the server population being female even though the MC was used to gaming being a primarily male hobby that would even be scorned by women.

Later on there are mentions of how a woman would naturally be the head of the house who would initially refuse a pet but later become the one most intimate with it (there are countless memes about men doing that in reality). And perhaps much more importantly, when scantily clad women are discussed like what wouldn't be unusual to be included in such games as fan service, the reactions are probably disgust, like one would have towards a male flasher in a trench coat.

Thus, when the MC's sexualised shota appearance is brought up, it's not that surprising to me that the chat would react with objectionable comments, similar to what might happen to a male dominated stream towards sexualised lolis.

Even in reality, there are many disgusting people on the internet, especially if they can be anonymous. If you've ever watched larger gaming streams, such reactions come up whenever a somewhat attractive woman appears on screen (whether a real or virtual one). Channels retire strict moderation and community cultivation to avoid that sort of thing.

So to me, that aspect didn't just seem realistic within the frame of the reversed role setting, but also it can be interpreted as criticism against the very phenomenon it describes, and if people feel disgusted by it, that's a success.

My opinion on the s*xual aspects aside (note that this is not explicit smut, actual interc**rse is not depicted), I thought it was reasonably well-written, with some similar issues that come up often in VRMMO stories.

I can't go into detail of what other aspects I found interesting without spoilers, but combining the four elements of game reincarnation, beast reincarnation, gender role reversal, and streaming overall works out fairly well.

It's not amazing or deep, but I had fun reading it.
