- Agu: He pisses everyone off because he teases people too much lol.
- Xiang Yue: He’s cold and quiet but he cares about the people around them. Agu likes him a lot because he can tolerate Agu. Cold and mature vibes
- Moss: Love moss! He’s my favorite puppet. He is also cold but compared with Xiang Yue, he has cold and innocent vibes[collapse]
MC gets an idea because he encountered some puppets chasing some trial ground escapees. The puppets and escapees say they are just playing a game but MC has this gut feeling that something feels wrong
He eventually finds out clues and talks with these escapees (while ML and the puppets were not around)
At first, MC was upset because he feels like he doesn’t really know ML and they are hiding these from him
However, we don’t really get an angsty confrontation because even before ML and MC gets to talk about it, MC ends up going to the Mother Tree and he finds out that
What ML and the puppets are doing are because they want to revitalize the Mother Tree
MC feels like he can’t judge ML or get angry now because it turns out that MC actually the manifestation of the Mother Tree and he is the prime beneficiary of what ML/puppets are doing
Although even ML didn’t know about this fact by that time
So when they meet again, ML is scared that MC will leave him and stuff like that
But it gets resolved in like half a chapter and no angst at all so everything is smooth sailing which is nice
