It´s a good story. Enjoyable and for once it´s not filled with h**ny people. Can you imagine a usefull s*ave in a japanese story? Can you imagine a male s*ave at all in any asian story? :D In this story we have Ian, a ressourcefull and normal human. The s*ave system makes much more sense here. Due to the ongoing wars, many end up as s*aves. Fighting s*aves are not accesible for regular people for valid reasons.You can actually just get your hands on young untrained kids, indebted common folk like farmers and stuff like that and thats it.The only downside to this is the fact that even the manga adaptation is faster than this novel translation. Manga is somewhere around chapter 300.
