It's really troublesome to rate this novel. It did entertain me and had moments where I really laughed but also parts that annoyed me and I wouldn't recommend.

So let me address an issue first that was mentioned by some other reviewers. The overly jealous and possessive cats....

The premise of this story is, that MC raised 6 young cats. He has a soft heart and somehow his one cat got 2, then another one found in a park and so forth... and here lies the problem. The novel also states the fact, that cats do not want to share their master. They want their masters full love and attention soley for themselves.

At some point MC was involved in a car accident, which happened on the same day "evolution" happened. Some pets broke the evolutionary border and evolved. Some became halfbreeds (human/pet characteristics mix up), some 1st order (human, can transform in normal pet back) and 2nd order (looks fully human but super large pet form and force).

MC feel into a coma and woke up 2 years later. The cats roamed the world for 2 years, desperately waiting for their loved master to wake up. So basically they would fight for attention and cuddles at every possibility and try to pit their siblings as much as they can.

And exactly here is the stuff I had to laugh about a lot, because it was fun when they pit each other. Some of the stuff sounds like evil things, that siblings actually do. Well as a person with 3 siblings I can tell you, yeah we would do some of this too while fighting. Building alliances against one sibling, just to betray the alliance for a small benefit (chocolate bar).

What I didn't like was the forced orderly way the story took. There was one cat introduced at the time. The timing was always right...

ML was also a part that wasn't written too good. ML is/ was one of the cats and I feel that the transition to lovers was strange. I felt like even if they treated each other at some point as lovers, that ML is always the submissive cat first. There is an imbalance in their relationship that never got really solved. This might be my feeling only.

So I decided to go with 3 stars, because it was a bit 2d, some story holes and the weak relationship. I most likely will not read this again but it was no complete time waste. I felt enough entertained to recommend to read it once, if there is nothing better and you just want some laughs.
