The translation is superb! Just for that I’ve already given this story 5 stars. The explanations are great and the character list/concubine rankings really helped me keep up with the story.The ML is also really nice compared to other MLs, not sure if that will change in the future though but right now he’s fair, smart, understanding and caring. He wants to do what’s best for his country and his people and he doesn’t believe whatever tricks have been used to frame the FL. A nice upstanding guy and if he were to be some sort of politician in this world, then he’d have my support. He also never engaged in any acts of coitus before because he was poisoned so that’s a plus??The FL doesn’t really do much and the ML first began to approach and stay close to her because she’s somehow the cure to his chronic headaches which he obtained from being poisoned. But eventually they grow closer together. No explanation so far on why that’s so, so I guess it kinda makes her a bit Sue-ish? She’s not dumb, she just never learned the skills that are deemed as important for those times. She’s cute I guess?Not much drama, no one goes between them. The vicious female supporting characters get their proper dues. They’re really pitiful in my opinion though, except for disliking the FL, they have no other characterization. There is no 2nd ML to disturb this couple except for a guy that once had a blind date with the FL, the ML never treats that guy badly though because he’s not some petty jealous guy.
