To me, it starts out interesting. The fact that our MC isn't taking over a host in each world but rather being a new character he can decide the personality of. (It's on page 1 so I don't think that counts as a spoiler).

the trauma from arc one doesn't poof disappear, but still effects the MC in arc two

And I love when there's little drama between the main characters.

Hmm. Didn't notice on the first read, but on the reread a comment from another reader caught my attention and made me think.

In arcs one and two, the bell and the wooden necklace are given decent significance. Suddenly in arc three the necklace is never mentioned, and the bell only mentioned as a joke by someone not the main characters. And MC suddenly has a fear of people that wasn't mentioned in the earlier arcs, even places it should have been. So my conclusion is... arcs one and two are from a different draft of the story than arc three. It definitely reads like the same characters, but the few inconsistencies is what makes me think this.

There's also a little of a weird thing at the end of arc 8 Spoiler

where suddenly they mention brothers in the main world? Wasn't that from the last arc? All the backstory we heard before this was that Lu Deng was an only child... And the sudden 'can apparently go back to previous worlds' thing... they're forever going to buy sweets from the interstellar world?
