First - a clarification. While "Wuxia" tag is present here, and the setting is obviously Murim, there is NO martial arts bullsh*t here.NONEI hate cultivation derangment with passion, and author skips ALL associated problems completely.MC has no troubles with "enlightenment" due to regression, no troubles with qi reserve due to a shameless absorbtion cheat. This is a huge positive, which for me makes the whole thing readable in the first place.Second - another clarification.Harem tag.It is not just present, it is the main focus here. This website does not provide much leeway in evading it, but do know that here it is SEVERE. With another layer of regular descriptions how "seductive" underage heroines look. Author makes a truly funny evasion attempt by using "around twenty" as the age for everyone, never mentioning the numbers, but it does not work when females in question do not know what a boy and a girl could possibly do alone and are easily distracted by candy on top of that.Either way, what did you expect from this tag in the first place? Much later, after a few timeskips they "surely are really twenty now", but by that time there are too many of them already, which makes it weird in a different direction; but again - the tag as usual. Finally, the story itself. Competently written dry cardboard. Peak of blandness. I really wanted to hate it, and was very irritated that there was no real reason to do so (aside from what could be already grasped by looking at tags). Author was doing a good job consistently, while not doing anything interesting at the same time. And what do you know, it got better! If you do something for a long time, you get better at it - shocking! Author took more than 200 chapters to start the creative engine, but it's really great now.Does it look like a recommendation to you? "It gets better after being dull for a longest time"?Either way, I tried to hate it and I couldn't. And now it's great. Good for me, huh!
