I really fell in love with this novel. The development of the relationship between the FL and the MC feels organic and right. MC tries really hard to get a place on the FL's heart and I love that slow paced friendship development as well.As for romance, there's not much yet (at the time I'm writing this, we are currently at chapter 14), but, who would romance their pets? It makes sense not to have for now. Actually, I'd rather not see people romancing their pets on novels, even of they're humans on animals bodies...Spoiler
Also, the way FL responded at the boy's mom that her cat (MC) saved really did hit hard. Well deserved, too.
