After reading all that was translated I started reading mtl, and I'm so glad I did. The story is awesome! At first this seems like a cliched "after being kicked out become amazing" story, but it isn't. The main character, Wim, is very unique in personality and mindset, especially for a protagonist. He's not exactly a savant, but would definitely be considered on the spectrum. His thoughts and behaviors are what set this story apart from so many similar ones.The author does a great job in naturally fleshing out characters, and giving them depth. What starts as a seemingly lighthearted story becomes more grounded as it becomes obvious that Wim is like a square peg in a round hole.
