This is the first time I'm reading a novel set in this part of history. Frankly, reading a story set in such primitive conditions was a new but exciting experience for me. The living order, moral rules and the effort made to survive are very different. The main roles are people who are very connected to each other but lack communication. On the one hand, a man whose sole purpose is to protect the woman next to him and who will do anything for this purpose, on the other hand, a woman who feels inadequate and is excluded from society because of her physical disability.
