Novel starts out fluffy, you could tell Adrielle, the Duchess, was a Yandere and really attached to Alice but there was a good respect and balance... For awhile. Around c70 it starts getting more BD*M heavy and more s*ave and freedom deprivation focused. Now, I have a lot of kinks and honestly this wouldn't scare me off but this author has found a way to trap themselves between R-18 and R-15 going both too far and not far enough. To be a Smut novel with no completion. The Duchess being a minor might have something to do with that, to barely be legal (?) But that also makes it more iffy if you want to read it
