Became a Medieval Fantasy Wizard Chapter 46 Discussion

Interesting magic concept.

Doesn't seem like the novel to have developed characters or interesting character dynamics/interactions. It really had to lean heavily on the adventure or magical realism aspect.

The problem is that those aspects often take a backseat in favor of the world's sociopolitical minutae of all things. What's worse is that it's given a lot of details but it's not fleshed out at all. The story ends up being such a slog to go through.

There really could have been a lot more to this story. I really tried to like it but it's not for me.
