I like the magic system.

I am disappointed by the depiction of some characters.

The human society is driven by reputation. Be it a personal reputation of a mercenary or having troublemakers in your village. Bad reputation results in problems. If you are a mercenary you won't get good jobs. In case of village, traders will not come to your place. I felt like author didn't think that a bad reputation was problematic for people that are not nobles.

There are also some language style problems. MC uses words that should not exist in the magical language.
