I rather enjoy this. Some sad things happen to extras, but the atmosphere of the story has lightened greatly as it progressed... Right around when Spoiler

the golden reapers appear (I think) is when extras start being saved instead of dying in the background.

Anyway. There is a lot of "this happened" and "and then that happened". It's all used for comedic purposes. The MC is basically a child that is focused on saving humans, eating snacks, playing pranks, and sleeping. Spoiler

Also ascending as a god.

except maybe the language and the situational awareness. They could originally have been an object and nothing would have changed (at least... at the current moment)
