It's really boring. I saw it had many reviews rating it highly but I don't see the appeal. I think it's too slice-of-life for me.It also keeps mentioning 'this day' and 'that day' when talking about their past and it gets really confusing. I also can't distinguish when it starts describing the present again. I'm not sure if it's the author or the translator. However, Chrysanthemum Garden has always translated superbly so I'd say it's the author that phrased it weirdly, making it off-putting.
