i was really enjoying this story, even with portions of ab*se that I typically would never be willing to read simply because it is acknowledged that the ML is not good and these actions are not okay.but then... Spoiler
the longest r*pe scene I've ever read had to occur. Genuinely chapters and chapters and chapters of just r*pe. I kept skipping forward just to see what the after effect of the r*pe scene was, but I never reached that point because the scene took so many chapters that I Genuinely couldn't keep clicking next chapter. This may be a bit dramatic as I'm writing this review months after having read it, but the moment I reread the summary all these memories of my sheer disappointment came flooding back.
The r*pe scene was so excessive, after a point the dislike I had for the assault, which was entirely unnecessary, btw, was overshadowed by my shock of just how much there was.
[collapse]So much wasted potential. Even without what I included within the spoiler, there were many scenes that made me uncomfortable. The beginning was also quite boring, and no matter the ML's traumas, it was nothing compared to what he kept putting the MC through.
