Read up to chap 43 but also skimmed multiple chapters later on, including the ending.The story is pretty difficult to describe. The author tries hard to build a sense of tension, which does somewhat exist just because the world building is suboptimal and we barely know anything about what's happening in the world. Our MC is really powerful but is forced to stay with the Department and constantly has to try to conceal his identity. The interaction with Hound tries frustrating too, with the MC constantly playing around and teasing Hound while he can't do anything.A very frustrating story to read. MC is always confident and relaxed but we never know what's part of his plan or what's unexpected. The romance is slow and despite the very ambiguous attitude between our MC and ML since the beginning, from what I've seen in later chapters it seems like the MC keeps the ML hanging until the end basically. Very little communication between our main couple too. Would likely not continue.
