This thing feels like an awkward story, I saw someone compare it to The Player Hides His Past.

I want to say that is a yes and no. If you look at concepts surely they are very similar. But if you are an avid reader one thing you are sure to pick up is that concept rarely guarantees anything execution is where everything is. How many stories are out here where the story synopsis seems like an automatic pass but the story itself is a solid "Must read" that is not the case with this. In the Player Hides His Past the story is engaging and the intrigue on what is next just roles like a snowball down mount Everest it only grows. But in this it's such a stretch to find any of it likeable. The character is honestly uninteresting at the very least much less than Grandfell / Lee Hoyeol. The point of view tries to be broader as opposed to something like The Player Hides His Past but all it comes across is as uninteresting information. Like something you would read in Overlord only without the stellar character interaction and hidden stories to make up for the info dump. The story reads more like a Japanese isekai story in interaction the type that make you uninterested. The characters are so flat and one dimensional I wonder what is enjoyable in all this? At least let the comedy be redeemably good. No it's not it feels forced at senseless, I like reading something like Lee Hoyeol interactions with his family. Here it's more of a feeling of "Why are they doing that?" like watching Sakura when she used to beat and yell at Naruto for no reason.

{Edit} I appreciated qazws33 critic and counter review on some of my talking point's upon reading through said review I will concede I may have been too hasty in my judgement, if the story does change. I plan to read up to the standard 100 when I get time and make another review. Till then I would like to place my 2/5 on hold.
