so good, the mix of familial feels and the mystery surrounding MC's backstory is very unique. Definitely consider reading it if you like a webnovel filled with warmth and intrigue. There's also lots of comedic moments mixed in with the emotional ones.the plot itself is also quite rare, there's subtle foreshadowing that makes you go "oh!" when some plot points are revealed. The author's writing really succeeded in establishing the characters. Even with the increasing cast, I can still distinctly remember each character's personality and ability. The worldbuilding was also really fleshed out.while sometimes you get the sense that the webnovel is more centered around the "cats" than the actual MC, we still get to slowly understand the type of person that the MC truly is. He appears calm and tranquil, but once you slowly peel back the layers, you realise that he also feels stressed. He simply uses his "cats" as a motivation to keep growing, in order to protect his children.this is a really thought-provoking webnovel. I was expecting something a lot less developed from the title, but I ended up really loving this webnovel. I'm eager to see how the plot continues to pan out. Ps. The translators did a wonderful job, and each chapter was really long!!
