This is one of those transmigration FLs with a space and need to survive famine in the beginning. FL is clever, resourceful, and can be ruthless due to her last life's experience as an orphan and a survivor in the apocalypse.There is a clear ML forming in the 2xx chapters, but this novel is 3xxx chapters so I'm going to wait until later to determine if he is truly the end game ML. This ML is quite adorable and very smart. He is employing the "boil frogs in warm water" strategy to woo the FL. He's the golden retriever partner type, and very obedient to FL and gets ordered around left and right by her. Very early on, perhaps their first few times of meeting each other, ML seemed determined to chase FL and send her all his savings for keeping. She won him over with a plate of fried rice. The chapters are quite short so don't be daunted by the numbers of chapters. I probably read to c. 228 in an afternoon sitting.1st arc - fleeing/surviving famine2nd arc - settlement in new town & doing business 3rd arc - going off to find their dad and trying to see if their mom can be cured. ~C. 240
