Looks like the average isekai/transmigration novel. The author is a bit more cautious in using the genre's already-exhausted clichés at least. For example, after finding out that he died and reincarnated into a random kid, the MC spends a couple lines in disarray, frustration, fear, and finally grief before deciding to accept reality and do something about his situation. Better than “Oh boy, this is an isekai! Hell yeah!”

The pacing is so slow that it's hard to tell anything about the story but so far it's okay. Characterization, world building, dialogue; everything's just okay.

Given that the protagonist apparently has a concrete goal from the start, I hope he doesn't spend the whole time dawdling between irrelevant plot points and side characters with no substance.

I'll definitely continue reading this.

Also, kinda weird that another group decided to pick up this novel and translate it from the start when the previous translation seems fine and still fairly active.
