Really good! I appreciate how the MC and MLs are very fleshed-out and complex. The MC also isn't a s*upid protag most of the time. I think his greatest flaw is his tendency to keep secrets from the knights, but it doesn't happen often (besides you know... his origin story lol). The author probably did it to keep things juicy. I can forgive this flaw because this novel is way more worth it.Also, if you think the MC is just gonna be a tactician... nah. He fights alongside the knights and nukes things. Sometimes, he gets more hype combat moments than his knights lol. Also, I like how he isn't super dense most of the time. He understands that the MLs are interested in him and chooses how he responds... of course he does get flustered sometimes though. Also, at the start, he's kinda hesitant about dating guys (not homophobic imo, just uncomfy), but that naturally falls away as he gets used to the MLs.The MLs also aren't very toxic (perhaps only at the first meeting/encounter for a few of them). They're quite possessive, but they're not controlling or anything once they fall. They give off yandere vibes, but they're not actually there lol. They're more like... puppies begging for the MC's attention XD Very clingy, but they're not about to harm the MC. Other people... depends on which ML XD (but they won't actually because they know it would upset the MC). I also appreciate their character development! It's great how the MLs get fairly even attention from the author. I don't think any of them are neglected, which is nice. They also get attention that's pretty evenly spread out throughout the novel (aka: this dude gets a focus for a bit, but then idk 50 chapters later he gets attention again), so your fave ML won't show up and fade into the background forever. The plot is also pretty interesting despite the premise being pretty normal (War against demons). Lots of hype moments.
