Truly amazing through and through, I expected an ok timeloop and I discovered a rare xianxia masterpiece.Pros
- MC isn't the usual psychopathic killer you see in xianxia, quite the opposite, he's very good natured. He's basically some random person stuck in a timeloop, and boy does he have some amazing character development.
- The characters, from the MC to most other characters, are well made. You understand how they operate, they all have their own goals, and you can see them in a different light in each new loop.
- Cute romances, not the best compared to the rest of the story, and not really the focus, but they're here and it's nice, as each of the girls has her own arc in a way.
- The fact that the MC has to tie new relations to people who forgets him every new loop is treated seriously, which is rare in these stories, and IMO essentially distinguishes good from bad loop stories.
- The universe is incredibly well developed and quite mysterious. It's obvious the author thought it through from the beginning.
- Very emotional at times, I like that a lot.
- Excellent translation quality. I feel like this story would have been butchered if it was just some random group MTLing it and calling it a day, so I'm very grateful.
- Lack of character's description outside of the species. You will notice it quickly, but characters get rarely any physical description. I know it's intended by the author, but I feel like it would have added to my imagination if he had bothered to do so. Oh well.
- The power scaling can be hard to follow.
- Some info dumps here and there.
