This novel is at a level that can compete with the best quality books on the market (lotm, orv). Unlike these popular books, it does not appeal to every readership. The slow pace of the story is acceptable. If it weren't for this slowness, the story wouldn't be as good as it is. It makes every return meaningful and worth living because the world is not reset as in other regressor stories, it creates alternative timelines.

It's nice for MC to make sacrifices for others. Because he will come back. The sad part is that even though they are very close to those they care about, they may not be the same person.

To say the magic system is well thought out would be an understatement. You feel the effort put in. The cultivation path shows his struggle against fate, and the martial arts show his struggle against his talent. Even though it may not seem like it, the results of your efforts are truly rewarding. I can say that there is a lot of information flow in these two systems, but if the author had not said these, we would never have understood the powers of MC. This is freedom for the reader.
