The negative reviews here are on point, to add:
- the prose is atrocious
- plot and wordbuilding bend heavily to conform the protagonist biases
- protagonist might be one of the dullest ever, takes literal centuries to grow a brain and start scheming
- the handling of relationships is terrible, side characters go from being central to being completely ignored with no explanation in a matter of a few chapters
