If you are into seing the MC suffering every goddamn chapters, this novel is for you, else, be ready to satisfy yourself with very few moments when the MC finally succeeds in increasing his cultivation level at the end of each regression.Tbh, it has its moments, with a nice world building, mysteries and relatively solid martial artist/cultivation levels, but Author always makes his MC suffering each time he succeeds in something.Basic plot is: MC spends years to cultivate (generally in despair while suffering because his talent is the most awfull you've probably ever read about), then reaches comprehension, then something happens and is killed either by the heaven because his lifespan has reached its end or by a sudden enemy/event/twist, he then regressed, manages to recover a bit his cultivation very fast (this is the satisfying moment), then, rince, repeat.Just imagine some Er Gen novel, with MC suffering in an endless loop. The first ten loops are worth reading but beware it still becomes quickly boring and repeatitive, cultivation jargons reaching its limits quite fast, forcing you to skip fights and paragraphs. The writting and translation are good enough to bring you to read the next chapter but the satisfaction never reaches a climax, and you quickly feel frustrated. Longevity Simulation was much more enjoyable.
