A Regressor’s Tale of Cultivation Chapter 324 Discussion

Great story. I picked up this novel expecting it to be a typical Xianxia with OP regression, but this is way better with excellent execution.

The main character starts as a depressed guy who dies in his 70s, only to regress after that.

There's definite character development; he improves overall, and all the deaths in this story are not meaningless (unlike some novels). Although the story starts at a slow pace, trust me it gets better. Just wait until Spoiler

you meet the antagonist in this novel (though I'm not sure if I can call him that) There are no permanent enemies or friends, only permanent interests with that guy.

After regressing, he is a reasonable guy who isn't the type to kill someone just because they look at him the wrong way. Sometimes he's a bit dumb like a normal person I guess, which is why we won't add the clever MC tag haha, but he makes it up with determination for sure.

Regarding the harem and romance thing, I actually start reading this novel when there is no romance tag and expect friendship story and all but

I appreciate how the writer handles romance with first FL. With romance done right, you will see the glimpses of it in the later chapters, he is not a simp for sure.

as for other LIs, I'll have to wait and see if there will be Harem tag or not.

Since this novel still ongoing, I'll continue to see how romance develops as the story progresses. Perhaps we'll need to add the "romance subplot" tag later on.

Give this novel a try, you won't regret it.
