Giving this 5 stars, because while it might rate this as 4 stars usually, I want to give it a little boost in the ratings, because I think more of the reviews are from before v-rustl started translating it, and those chapters at the beginning are worse than MTL.

If you stick with it, you will find a good novel, that while it might not have the most interesting plot, as a good old fashion slice-of-life novel, the true worth is in the characters and the interaction between them, and it's really great here, with memorable characters, and enough comedy to get a good laugh out of me every now and then.

Also, about the MC being the usual beta MC of most jp novels

The dude has been getting it on with his wife from day one, it's just never said out loud, because it's not the point of this novel, but it's made clear when they try to get a baby.

Also, not need to go crazy on everyone that looks at you the wrong way, this is not a CN novel, and most of the time they will realize themselves how screwed they would be if they try to cross him
