A well written short horror story. Its as the reviewer above, it is a very symbiote esque relationship between the ML and the MC but I do like how the pacing of the story solely focuses on just the MC and ML relationship moving forward. It is creepy and unsettling in the sense that it make you feel like it shouldn't be a happy ending because of the parasitic and power imbalance that the relationship clearly poses however that's what sealed the deal for me. I enjoy looking at the character progression of the ML and MC here is like the unchanging anchor, the reason for ML's character progression. For a short story, I think it truly delivers the unsettling feeling whether ML will one day go out of line or Spoiler
if MC truly does like ML since it is portrayed as if he is trying to rationalise his overwhelming fear into love
