- the world setting is really unique! it's like our 21st century with all the technology etcetera but still holding on ancient setting such as European royalty & eastern clans. then combine it all with magical fantasy
- it's power couple ⁚3 with rivals to enemy dynamic. ofc at the end they both madly in love with each other
- a little bit of angst (angst!! it's so good too) here and there, and then a sprinkle of romance (the description!! the wording !!) every few chapters ⁚3
- kinda found family? except it's high schoolers found family?? ⁚')
- the worldbuilding is kinda... idk maybe because I read it with mtl but it's really confusing. it's not bad though, it's just really hard to understand
- there is a lot of foreshadowing, and misunderstanding, and unreliable narration (someone need to put that tag up here)

Ian!cassis always disregard his traumatic experience as something that not worth to worry about. I was surprised when he was actually ab*sed by his family cuz in the first chapter he describes it as if he's from a good family
[collapse] - changes mood at random times??? in example, they would be in the middle of battle and then boom (!!) romance with flowery words... Or random arcs, they be fighting enemies to death last chapter then next chapter is them having a school trip
