Holy shit. Holy shit. Criminally underrated.

First of all, the s*xual tension is unmatched. This couple makes death threats sound like invitations to tango, and what's even more stimulating is that they do all sorts of wild sh*t in front of students, reporters, and their own damn teachers. The PDA is excruciatingly hilarious, hot, and embarrassing, but our protagonist and our male lead have zero shame, so it conversely gives sadistic delight when reading about all the onlookers faces falling off when they threaten flirt with each other. Bwahaha.

The world setting is the standard korean monstergates and hunters, except its been happening since ancient times. The characters are in a hunter academy, and both have influential identities. Our protagonist's personality is very satisfying- he's like Cale Henituse and Lee Kiyoung and Kim Dokja, all rolled into one. Devious as f*ck, coolheaded, and hardworking. To summarize... a person who drowns pain in pleasure, disguises effort as effortless, and spills his own blood to live longer while saying stuff that causes those around to misunderstand him as having given up on life. A lustful and hedonistic young master transmigrated into a villainous young master with germ phobia, somehow even more sinful, alluring, and wicked than the original villain. His main goal is to f*ck the og protagonist at least once, and if he's the one getting f*cked then he'll at least make sure the male lead gets screwed over in fairness. The male lead is very interesting too. SPOILER: he's a regressor who witnessed the world end from og villain. Basically a hero that became stained with blood, but still holds on to his morals and mercy. Both protagonists actually have a similar mindset when it comes to the relationship: Doesn't want to fall in love, misunderstands himself as falling in love first, and tries to hold on to the resolve to kill the other person if needed despite those feelings. Resentfully obsessive love that if mutual understanding occurred would resolve itself like honey. Also, every sentence in this novel is hilarious. I especially love all the reactions of the side characters eating dogfood.

I've only read the free chapters so far (c73), but I super love this novel. I'd read 1000 chapters of this and love it. It's got everything I love; fake dating, misunderstandings, villainous seeming protagonist, and a super interesting cast. The translation is good, although sometimes some of the female characters get male pronouns.
