Enemies to lovers to cutie loversthe MC is so.... crazy haha oh my gosh.I’m not sure if it was me or if the way the novel is written is a little confusing (someone said that it does seem to switch moods suddenly and I agree. It gets confusing/disorienting sometimes especially since flowery descriptions like to be dumped in.) but it’s not too bad to understand?I wasn’t sure about this novel but what hooked me was the dynamic between the MC and ML. They’re both crazy in their own way and it causes much hilarity especially in the disparity of tone when you switch from the MC’s POV to the ML’s.Spoiler
i do miss their hate sex-vibes dynamic from the beginning a little bit because it was fun but at the same time I felt like this would be a novel that has a BE/ends in tragedy if they stuck to that dynamic LMAO... their current dynamic is still quite fun nonetheless, just in a different, softer way.
[collapse]the MC...I really like the MC here. He really is a hedonistic young master and I do think unlike perhaps a lot of other MCs you’ve read, he truly is not a good person, but me and the ML like him anyway.Spoilerofc we eventually find out why the MC is this way, I do like that you get hints from pretty early on that the MC is coping by acting the way he does? I really enjoyed how the author wrote him dealing with his trauma and ab*se, because he’s not a “perfect victim” but it’s still very clear how much it affects him in unhealthy and sad ways despite what the MC says.
