I always forgot but MC was quite young and unstable when the first chapters started. It was basically just prologue like naruto before shippuden started. The real novel starts after the time skip and oh boy, MC did some maturing and growing up, he even hides all his strength, even at the cost of nearly losing. Even as a reader he is full of mysteries because we know that his stronger than how he appears to be from some passages like having things from stronger monsters or even intimidating some creatures, but what he shows is not nearly enough. Then there’s the missing backstories from the time skip. I hope this gets translated faster and we get to read along latest chapters from COO.
