they met in the first arc, separated in arc 2 and met again in arc 3. They got together in arc 3 and ML work out how to follow MC in the future missions.
[collapse]Spoilerarc 1- the beginning MC and ML are noobs here but they got pretty strong quickly. Their mission is to kill barbarians and protect the city. They get rewards and additional plus to their attributes when they kill barbarians. They completed the mission quickly and they get the extended mission where they need to protect the city from a thousand barbarians/enemy.
arc 2- only MC is here. He is in a survival reality show. Where they have missions every stage and killing is allowed. Since MC is OP, he easily defeated the others and he is called God Xia by his competitors. Anyway before the end of the mission, MC exposed the illegal survival show to the outside world.
arc 3- ML and MC met again. In this world they have to protect other newbies, 10 each. They work together to protect and to teach the newbies here.
arc 4- they are together again. They are in the military camp. There will be tribulation in the city and they need to protect it from "evil spirits". But they discovered the the evil spirits are not really an enemy since they are the spirits of the dead people. They are only going to the city so that they can visit their relatives. But that truth is covered up since greedy people from the past wants to kill the spirits for the spirit stones to get stronger. Anyway MC and ML discovered the plan of the governor and help him change it and they announced the truth to the public. They also made the city where humans and spirits can co exist.
arc 5- MC and ML are in a boat racing competition. They always win 1st place and they also got the chance to slightly study the world where they are in. They conclude that the worlds that they are going into are real worlds that exist not just some simulation by a powerful person. They also took the chance to store up some future knowledge and inventions so that they can also develop it in their real world. They plan to build an research institute to develop the virtual simulation/wolrd.
arc 6- here they met someone from arc 4- the one they help before. Their mission in this world is to gather money. The more the better. And since their starting identity here is a criminal on probation, they understood that they can gather money illegally. They also teamed up with the one they met before. This teammate is helpful in this world since his expertise is on the computers/technology. They also finished this world perfectly.
arc 7- apocalypse team. MC, ML and Gao already teamed up after the arc 6. Here their mission is to survive for a month.
Their identity is a civilian hunters and they were recruited to rescue the scientist in the secret lab. But Gao infiltrated the info system and they learned that they were not to rescue but the scientists and gov plans to go to the start of the apocalypse. To retrieve the source of virus so that they can developed vaccines. Gao also learned that the lab and gov previously sent teams there but all of them are wiped out since there is a super strong "zombie" there.
and with the "rescue" of MC and others, the scientists plans to get the help of the lower soldiers and civilians hunters to go again there but obviously they didn't disclose that the previous team got wiped out.
arc 8- here MC and the others are terminally ill patients in an weird hospital. They notice that the hospital is sus. And sure enough every night they are force to sleep and when they wake up they are many spirits/ghosts all over the hospital that will attack them.
They discovered the truth and they exposed it to the outside world.
arc 9- interstellar theme. Here they are forced "volunteers" in exploring a planet full of insects/zergs. They discovered the truth again and they exposed it all over the galaxy. Here MC also took away the insect queen by inviting it to be his pet since the insect race is imprisoned in that planet by humans, either their race will die out in a hundred/thousand years or go with MC.
They uncovered the truth that them and the previous teams that explored that planet are just cannon fodder by the military gov. They didn't cate how many die as long as they obtain the black stone/resource in that planet. Thats why MC and the other planned and counterattacked the upper echelons of the government.
arc 10- magic and demon theme.
they start out as a student. They learned quickly. Aftr graduating they are ent to the battlefield to kill demons everyday.
they notice that something os wrong and sire enough they learned from the prof/magician that humans and demons are not really enemies. They are just cooperating to fight together since their world is lacking magic elements. Humans and demons are needed to cast or release magic to balance out the magic elements in the world.
MC and the two concluded that their way is only delaying the destruction of their world not solving it. That's why MC and the two studied and invented a way for the ordinary humanns to also contribute magic elements every day since ordinary himans are the majority of the population. They invented magic light lamps and it worked. When ordinary humans used it, they released small magic elements.
the magic associations and the mc'd work together to invent more magic tools for the necessities of the ordinary humans so that they can continually contribute magic elements when they us it.
