Non-spoiler review: If you want a story with a if you like an MC that knows her worth, isn't willing to put up with being a substitute and breaks it off cleanly with said gaslighter, then you'll enjoy this novel. The romance between MC and her partner is cute if a bit cliché with the partner as CEO. I loved MC shutting down the ex when she wants to get back together. I enjoyed the parts where MC releases music as well!

[SPOILER ALERT]

It's a really enjoyable read! Youqing (MC) is a fun protagonist to follow and I like that the relationship with Churui (Partner) started as one of with friends. The plot is the usual substitute girlfriend (a.k.a white moonlight) with the added switched-at-birth plot.

The writing and the progression of the story is fine but it just made me feel like a lot is happening and each thread could have been fantastic. This story had the potential to be great if they delved more into MC's relationship with her estranged mother and late-uncle (the novels MVP even when we never met him) before the reveal about the real family. Still, it is nice that MC gains the warm family she only got from her uncle. Youqing's debut and career could have been developed more to especially since she participates in writing the songs she performs.

Jiang Yaling, a.k.a the white moo light, is a bit brainless though but it isn't a game changer. She just seems pathetic tbh. I like Zhou Yirou's ending as well hehe.
