This is an underrated novel, a hidden gem if you will. I'm surprised to see this novel with so little reviews and ratings, but with how good this story is I'm sure it will get the popularity it deserves in due time. The story is so addicting that I had to drop everything I was doing to use google translate to read more chapters. I'm completely hooked. The concept behind this system is quite strange. If you have ever played BitLife, the system plays out simulations very similar to it. You get snippets of scenes now and then, but for the most part the simulation plays out like a bunch of key events and the protagonist is presented choices to respond to them. He is allowed to replay simulations and start from different key events as he pleases, but he only has a limited amount of simulations available that he has to replenish through other means. The simulations play out like their own mini storylines with each character, but his actions outside of the simulation can also influence his starting point and how his simulations unfold. Think of this novel as a collection of mini stories with an overarching main story outside of it. The simulations affect his decisions and actions in reality and vice versa. As ChaosRune wrote in an earlier review, this unique storytelling allows for hyper concentrated scenes of romance, drama, and wholesome moments that hit straight in the heart. No filler, solid continuous progression, and even repetitions of simulations with the same love interest involved unfold completely different events each time. Some chapters are so in depth that it feels like you just experienced entirely different romance stories within this one novel. Just one more chapter before bed.... will lead to tens being read as a single chapter could sometimes be a quarter of a storyline. AND I CAN'T END ON A CLIFFHANGER.Anyways give this novel a chance and you surely won't regret it.
